I am an independent Fire Safety Consultant and have worked in the fire sector since 1974. I retired from Humberside Fire Brigade with 20 years service.

In that time, I spent 13 yeas as an operational fire fighter and 7 years as a specialist Grade 1 Fire Safety Inspecting Officer. Also I successfully completed the Specialist Fire Prevention Officer Course at the Fire Service College, and have been involved in producing Fire Certificates under the Fire Precautions Act 1971 and producing fire risk assessments under the Workplace Regulations and the Regulatory Reform Order.

Institute of Fire Engineers

I have a wide experience of providing fire training for hospitals and the nursing and residential care sector. I have developed and delivered training modules and schedules for hospitals.

I am based near to York, Yorkshire and work throughout the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire region.
